For COR® Certified companies seeking reciprocity in Nova Scotia
In order to be eligible to receive reciprocal COR® Certification in Nova Scotia, a company must meet the following conditions:
- The company does not have a permanent location within Nova Scotia
- The company has a valid Certificate of Recognition from another member of the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations
If you meet these conditions, please contact the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Association that issues your COR® Certification. They will begin the process to have your COR® Certification reciprocated by Construction Safety Nova Scotia.
Once approved, Construction Safety Nova Scotia will issue a Letter of Good Standing with the same expiration date of your provincial or territorial COR® certificate (to a maximum of 1 year). It is the company’s responsibility to re-apply when their Construction Safety Nova Scotia Letter of Good Standing expires.
You can find links to all the Construction Safety Associations that offer reciprocal COR® Certification on the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations website: www.cfcsa.ca.
