Principles of Health & Safety Management

This course is for supervisors, managers, and leaders who are responsible for building and developing effective safety management programs. The course will walk participants through the steps necessary to create a thorough safety manual, plus share templates adaptable to a wide variety of companies. When participants have completed the course, they will have the knowledge and resources to build and implement a safety program in their workplace. The following topics will be covered: safety policies and rules hazard assessments and analysis safe work practices safe work procedures personal protective equipment preventative maintenance training and communications inspections accident investigation and reporting emergency preparedness statistics, records, and documentation legislation procurement and contractor management
